DRIVEN DESIGN

Driven Design is a business created from my passion of cars and art.

After more than 10 years of perfecting my art I have created a store of posters, hoodies, t-shirts and much more, but it wasn't always this way.

I first started with pencil drawings over 10 years ago, drawing my friends cars for them, this slowly evolved into alcohol markers to create a coloured image where I could add more details. After I sold a few I got some traction by going to car shows and events, displaying my artwork. I then created a business from this, calling it Redline Arts.

These two drawings have been showcased in The ArtHouse gallery.

After 4 to 5 years of working on my drawings whilst holding down full time jobs, I decided to join the military. After realising I was unable to lug around 600 pens and paper I made the decision to transition into digital art, buying my first iPad as an investment into future ventures with the business. After teaching myself an entirely new style of art for 6 months I finally decided they were good enough to start selling again.

However, after being inactive for almost a year, I had lost a lot of clientele, so I needed to build my business back up again. Instead of trying to revive Redline Arts, I wanted to create a more professional, modern business model. So I came up with Driven Design. I worked tirelessly to rebrand into a new and improved arts store with designs no one had seen before. And I decided from there on that everything I did would be done by hand, from my logos, to my designs, everything is hand drawn, despite the many claims of it being fake or AI.

To combat these comments I would time-lapse my drawings, showing everyone just how real and authentic my art is, creating YouTube and TikTok videos. The aviation side of my business came from my reignited passion for jets whilst in the military. After a few talks I decided to design a squadron hoodie, which gained a lot of attention, and solidified aviation designs into my business.

The final idea was to move on from just doing custom drawings for individuals, which although I loved doing, took hours out of my day and was inefficient. Having collaborated with the popular car club Street Torque, and becoming their merchandise designer, I decided to put my designs on clothing, starting with the hyper realistic drawings I had done, and slowly adding new and improved designs.

As of 2025 I have sold hundreds drawings and clothing worldwide, with amazing feedback from all my customers.

I have also done a handful of 1 off designs for people since the rebrand and will be continuing to do so.
